As Chartered Surveyors we are recognised by Government bodies, Local Authorities, the Courts and Inland Revenue for the purposes of valuations of property.
We take great care to ensure the instructions we receive are clearly understood by us and will often recommend that we speak to our clients’ accountants or tax advisors, prior to undertaking a valuation. Unfortunately, this is not as common a practice as it should be.
